BloggingTips is a blogging advice blog which currently has around 2,000 RSS subscribers and around 5,000 daily unique visits per day. The site is getting a new design soon so I am looking for 2 or 3 new weekly writers. I need one writer to post on a Friday and 2 writers to cover the sunday posting schedule.
I am looking for authors who can write about technical aspects of blogging including css coding, php coding, blog design, wordpress coding and other areas where the author solves problems for the reader.
Full time authors get the following for a commitment of 1 post per week
* Full credit for writing the post with 2 links to the writers website or blog
* A link in the author area which appears on every page of the blog
* $50 a month payment in arrears via paypal
The author must be experienced and have a good grasp of the English language. If you are interested in this position please contact me with a little background information of yourself and links to some articles that you have written recently (related to the topics I mentioned above).
Non technical writers : I am always looking for some guest posters for BloggingTips so if you are not experienced in coding then I would be happy for you to submit a general blogging related post. It’s great exposure for your blog 
UK Tech/Gaming Blog
I am looking to hire a writer to contribute to my UK based tech blog. The blog is mainly focused on gaming , laptops and gadgets etc.
The applicant must have experience in blogging and have an interest in gaming and tech related topics. The blogger must, I repeat must be based in the UK, as this is a blog written from a British viewpoint. Please do not apply for this position if you are not eligible. I will not reply to those who are based outside the UK (I know this sounds harsh but I wasted a lot of time on this before and USA and Asia based writers kept writing things from an outside view).
Post Frequency: Min 3 posts/week but preferable 6.
Post Length: 200 word minimum
Payment in Arrears via paypal: $5.00 per post (USD)
Joke & Funny Picture/Video Blog
Myself and a friend are launching a joke type blog. The blog currently has a basic design however a premium theme will be bought in the coming months, just now our main priority is getting more traffic to the site by adding good content.
The applicant would have to post on a daily basis.
Posts can include
* jokes
* funny stories
* online games
* funny pictures
* videos
Although videos are sometimes posted on the blog, the applicant should not post videos on a regular basis (ie. we do not want the blog to be another youtube type blog).
This blogging job does not require a lot of experience so we welcome applications from everyone ie. if you do not have any links to articles you have written on the web we are happy for you to submit 2 sample posts to show the type of post you will write.
Posting on the blog is incredibly easy as you are simply finding material from across the web. We are happy for applicants to post up to a week in advance using the timestamp feature of wordpress once we have seen the quality of posts that you are posting.
Post Frequency: 15 posts per week
Payment in Arrears via paypal: $120.00 per month (USD)
* An average of $2 a post seems incredibly low however as stated above, it does not take much time to write posts for this blog (ie. less than 5 mins).

A lady replied quickly after I posted the ad today and we are giving her a trial. Unfortunately, we have only budgeted for one full time writer at the moment though I can definately keep you in mind for the future if you want (or if this doesnt work out)

I’m a blogger looking to expand… I have my personal blog (link in comment addy) as well as three others all linked through my main site. I’ve also written for 451Press, Associated Content, Crazy Hip Blog Mamas, and TopBlogMag. Those articles are also linked. Thanks for the consideration.
I wanted to apply for the position of fun related stuff as this would be the easiest position I can think about considering my hectic schedule.
Instead of making this mail a real lengthy business I would present before you my blogging journey in short:
* Started on a blogspot blog on October 2006 but had to shutdown that blog for some reasons.
* Started fresh on another blogspot blog (webtechlog.blogspot.com) on January 1st 2007.
* Moved the blog to self hosted wordpress blog (www.nofullstop.com) late August 2007.
* Started another blog (www.theSenorita.com) in January 6th this year which truly reflects the professionalism which I have developed.
I am a full time computer engineering student who is handling two blogs so you know it now, I can handle my time table. I am in the look our for regular income from writing and this job will give me just that.

I guess it depends on what you enjoy, with the humour and tech blogs you’re starting, I would imagine them to be quite tough to get into, but they would be something you’d enjoy working on.
I’ve thought about doing a humour and tech site myself in the past but I’m just worried it’s gonna be to hard to get into.
But I’ve realised in the last month that it’s getting harder and harder to motivate myself to work on sites that aren’t on a topic I care about or find fun. I’m trying to decide now, do I cut my loses and take it as a lesson learnt or do I stick it out, continue to build something and look to sell it in 3-6 months.
Decisions, decisions.

Thanks Ryan. lol no problem with writing on the wrong post. Starting sites about something you are not interested in is a silly move, something I learned the hard way. I think you need to have some interest in the sites topic, particularly if you are writing for the site.
